Can I ask a student who has already submitted answers for a speaking or writing activity to start again with a new first attempt?

No, this isn’t an option. Attempts can’t be changed after they’re submitted.

Note that the number of attempts students can submit are as follows:

1. For activities which are marked by the teacher: 3 attempts
2. For auto-marked activities: unlimited attempts
