A solid gold star shows that a student has completed an activity with above the target score set for it. A shaded star means they've not yet achieved the target score. They can test their progress by repeating the activity later.
For Primary and Secondary students, a bronze medal indicates completion of an activity, and a gold medal shows they've achieved a high score.
An outline star or medal indicates that a writing or speaking activity has been submitted but not yet marked.
