When online your child is accessing content and data in their Cambridge One account.

When offline they are accessing downloaded content. For more information, read: How does my child download their materials on Cambridge One Desktop App? When they’ve finished working, they can synchronise any changes with their Cambridge One account by going back online. Their session lasts for one month. After that, they can either:

• Restore their session by entering their login details again
• Continue with an expired session for up to one year (only if they don’t have internet access)

We recommend closing the app by clicking the ‘X’ in the top right corner. 

Closing the app vs. logging out:

• When they close the app, they stay signed in and can access downloaded content offline next time
• When they log out, they need to log in again to access downloaded content and work offline.

Please note:

• When your child connects to the internet with the Desktop App open, their changes (such as notes, drawings, or the last page visited) will syncronise automatically. Regularly renew their session to ensure that their content is updated, to be accessed from another computer or go to Cambridge One.
• The app allows your child to access eBooks, including all audio, video and interactive activities available for these titles. Other products in Cambridge One (Practice Extra, Resource Bank, etc.) cannot be accessed from this app.
