These unique codes give teachers and learners access to course materials, classes, and school accounts.
Activation code | Class key | School key |
It has 16 characters and include upper case letters and numbers.

It has 8 characters and include both lower and upper case letters and numbers.

It has 9 characters, upper case letters only and no numbers.

Activation code
- It gives access to digital course materials for teachers or learners
- Activation codes for teachers are printed on the inside front cover of your Teacher’s Book, or given to you by your local Cambridge sales representative

- It can only be activated on an account with a matching role (e.g. student's codes can only be activated on a student's account).

Class key
- It allows learners to join a class
- The class keys is case sensitive
- It can be found on the class page under the class name, on the teacher or the administrator dashboards
- Give your class key to your students so they can join the class.

School key
- It allows teachers to join a school. If you want to join one, read: How do I join a school?
- The school key can be found at the top of the Administrator dashboard, under the school name
- Only Administrators and teachers can access school accounts. Do not give the school key to learners, or to anyone outside the school. This is to protect the confidential information held in your account.
