Grade weighting means that the materials used in a class contribute different percentages to a student’s overall grade. For example, some activities may count more toward the final score than others.

By default, when class materials are selected, all class materials have the same weight.

Who can change grade weighting?

Only administrators can change grade weighting for a class. They do this in Class grade settings.

If you are a teacher, you will not see the Class grade settings option. This is normal and depends on your role.
