The message 'Not valid' may appear in Writing Competency Tests when no score can be generated for a response. You may see this message in:
- My Progress
- Progress
- the CEFR Level report page for the competency test
- Assignments where the competency test was assigned
This can happen if:
- you did not write an answer
- your answer is too short
- some or all of the text is not in English
- you copied the question
- your answer repeats the same text
- your answer contains inappropriate language
- your answer does not follow the task instructions, such as word limits
