Please note that you can activate codes only once.
There are a few reasons why you see this error message. Here are the most common ones:
- Your code was activated in a different account
- You see ‘Activate’ next to your assignment or below a component (like Practice Extra, Digital Workbook), or ‘Add materials’ next to your class
- Super Minds (All versions)
- You may have purchased a second-hand book
- Your code has expired

Your code was activated in a different account
You probably used a different account to activate it.
If you remember the account you used, try logging into it. If you are not sure where the code was used, please fill out this form to contact us with a photo of your activation code.

You see ‘Activate’ next to your assignment or below a component (like Practice Extra, Digital Workbook), or ‘Add materials’ next to your class
Here are some things you can do:
1. Confirm that you purchased the correct version (e.g. American or British English) and level (e.g. 1, 1A, 2) of your book. Some codes may include access only to the eBook.
For example, Workbook/Activity books Digital Packs can provide:
> Practice Extra or Digital Workbook, these are the online activities that can be assigned as homework when you are in a class
> Student’s Resources (video, audio, etc)
If you are not sure what your code includes, check the ISBN number (on the back of your book, under the barcode) on cambridge.org to see what is included with your code.
2. Ask your teacher if the class or assignments have the correct materials. They might have picked the wrong level or version.

Super Minds (All versions)
To get full access to all digital learning materials, you need to activate two different codes. Each code gives access to different content:
> The Student’s Book code gives access to the eBook only (a digital version of the book)
> The Workbook code gives access to the Practice Extra (online activities) and Learner Resources on the platform.
Tip: This applies to series like Guess What!, Kid's Box, and Interchange too.

You may have purchased a second-hand book
It's possible that the book you purchased was used or second-hand, and the code was already activated by someone else.
In this case, we recommend contacting the person, school, or bookstore where you bought the book. Please fill out this form to contact us with the following information:
> Proof of purchase (receipt)
> A photo of the activation code printed on the book or card
> A photo of the ISBN printed on the book (the number on the back cover, below the barcode that starts with 978)
> A photo of the copyright page, usually found on the second or third page, with a list of ISBNs. It shows where the book was printed (Printed in...)

Your code has expired
If you are trying to activate a code that has already expired, you will see this error.
To access the digital materials again, you will need to buy a new code.
