Assignments are ordered by their due date. The assignment with the earliest due date appears first.

If two or more assignments have the same due date, the most recently created assignment appears first.

For example:

• Assignment A - due 10 September
• Assignment B - due 15 September
• Assignment C - due 15 September, created after Assignment B.

The order will be:

1. Assignment A
2. Assignment C
3. Assignment B

How can I create assignments in a specific order?

If assignments have the same due date, create them in reverse order to make them appear in the order you want.

For example, if you want students to see:

1. Unit 11
2. Unit 12
3. Unit 13

Create the assignments in this order:

1. Unit 13
2. Unit 12
3. Unit 11

This is because the most recently created assignment appears first when assignments have the same due date.

Please note: Editing an assignment does not change its creation date. If you edit an assignment, it will keep its original position based on its creation date.
