If you delete a class by mistake, it moves to the Ended classes section. 

You can only restore the class if its end date is today or in the future. This applies to:

• Independent teachers restoring their own classes
• Administrators restoring classes in a school account.

Before you start

Check the end date of the deleted class:

• If the end date has not passed, you can restore the class
• If the end date has passed, you cannot restore the class.

For example, you can restore a class that ends next month. You cannot restore a class that ended last week.

Restore a deleted class

1. Open your classes:

• If you are an independent teacher, go to your dashboard
• If you are an administrator, go to the Classes tab on your dashboard.

2. Scroll down to the Ended classes section and open it

3. Find the deleted class and select it

4. When the class opens, select Close

5. Select Actions on the right-hand side

6. Choose Restore class

7. Confirm your selection.

The restored class will appear with your current classes. 

Tip: If you do not see the change straight away, wait a moment and refresh the page.
 

I cannot restore the class

Issue: The Restore class option is not available or does not work.

Cause: The class end date may have passed.

Resolution: Check the end date. You can only restore the class if its end date is today or in the future.

If the class belongs to a school account, an administrator must restore it.
